The internal perforated tube (380mm) does not extend through entire box length.

Before the start of the perforated tube at one end there is a 100mm chamber, followed by a solid walled tube with two absorption holes for 120mm.

This construction is to ensure the silencer efficiently reduces the resonance of the exhaust gas, especially when used under the car along the floor tunnel.
