Lewi had already fitted his Jetex cat-back exhaust, but due to an engine remap he wanted to make the exhaust flow even better. So Jetex supplied him with a Euro 5, 200 cell high flow catalyst. The results were not quite what he expected (in a good way). However, we knew it would work beautifully…
The emissions report shows that CO and HC were kept well under diagnosis limits and actually were lower with the sports cat fitted than without. If you fit a high quality catalyst with the right Euro rating, even if high flow, it can do a job as well as the original and still be less restrictive.
